How to read this data
- • Each row in 'All budgets' summarises one enterprise budget from the commodity's own Excel workbook (Inputs → Budget → Cash Flow → Sensitivity).
- • Steady-state year at September-2026 prices; costs and prices escalate 5% a year in the cash flows; NPV at a 20% discount rate.
- • Working capital (share of Year-1 operating costs) is invested in Year 0 and released in the final year, so IRR reflects the full cash need.
- • Units differ (1 ha, 0.25 ha, 1,000 m², 5,000-bird unit, 10 cages…). Compare margin %, IRR and start-up cash, not absolute GHS.
- • Tree crops have long establishment periods; IRRs of 15–25% are typical and NPV at 20% may be negative.
- • Prices marked 'indicative' in the playbooks are Aya estimates where no official 2025–26 series exists — validate locally before investing.
- • Decision-support material, not investment advice. Prepared by Kojo Akoto Boateng / Aya Sustainable Solutions / @kojoab.
